- All points-of-view are equally valid and all truth is relative to the individual
- There are no absolute truths
God says:
- We are to be Holy But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:15 A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. – Psalms 21:2
- We are to over come You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:37-39 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. – John 14:13
- We are to love “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. – John 13:14 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. – 1 Corinthians 13:4
In this world, noting is perfect. Just as they said, nothing in our own world is forever. As a liberal, I can say that it is pure human morality that causes us to see things differently. God said that we are to be holy but human nature causes us to see things in a different light. We are to be holy but to attempt to be perfect.
